Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy retail store in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring a high standard of store presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate store activities to achieve financial goals.
  • Cultivate a positive shopping environment to enhance the customer experience.
  • Monitor stock levels and order products as necessary.
  • Develop and lead training programs for staff development.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for store promotions and events.
  • Set and track sales targets and KPIs.
  • Participate in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
  • Report to senior management on store performance and strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Retail Management certification is a plus

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role
