Chemical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in chemical processes and will be responsible for designing and optimizing various chemical production systems. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering and production teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop process flow diagrams and P&IDs to support engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate on optimization projects to reduce waste and improve yield.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for production issues.
• Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines and sustainability practices.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Facilitate workshops to promote innovation and team collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or related roles
