Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Manage chronic diseases and prescribe medications.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met in patient care.
• Participate in community health programs and outreach.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.
• Contribute to research and development of nursing practices.
• Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
