As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with neurological disorders. This role involves conducting detailed evaluations, interpreting results, and implementing effective therapy plans.
Responsibilities
Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to inform treatment decisions.
Provide expert testimony or consultation when required in legal cases.
Engage with families to provide education and resources.
Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about neuropsychological services.
Assist with the development of clinic protocols and procedures.
Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff and interns.
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
Engage in clinical audits to ensure quality control and improvement.
Requirements
Education
Doctoral degree in Clinical Neuropsychology or related field
Licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in South Africa is required
Experience
At least 3 years of clinical experience working with children is mandatory.
