Job Description

As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with neurological disorders. This role involves conducting detailed evaluations, interpreting results, and implementing effective therapy plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide expert testimony or consultation when required in legal cases.
  • Engage with families to provide education and resources.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about neuropsychological services.
  • Assist with the development of clinic protocols and procedures.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff and interns.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
  • Engage in clinical audits to ensure quality control and improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Neuropsychology or related field
  • Licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in South Africa is required
Experience
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience working with children is mandatory.
