Job Description

As an Architectural Designer, you'll play a vital role in transforming concepts into reality. You will engage with stakeholders to refine designs, ensuring that every project adheres to architectural standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and sustainable designs that meet client expectations.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss project details and progress.
• Generate and review design documentation such as reports and proposals.
• Participate in architectural reviews and presentations.
• Optimize workflows to improve design efficiency and output quality.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from inception to completion, including post-occupancy evaluations.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members and clients.
• Design and initiate construction documentation.
• Advise on materials selection and construction techniques.
• Document architectural progress and modifications throughout the project.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related discipline
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience in architecture or design

Technical Skills

• Photoshop
• BIM Software

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
