Road Oiling Truck Driver

Job Description

As a Road Oiling Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining road oiling trucks to apply asphalt emulsion or oil-based mixtures. Your role is essential to the maintenance and repair of road surfaces, ensuring safety and durability.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate road oiling equipment to achieve high-quality spraying results.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation checks on the vehicles and equipment.
• Liaise with management to ensure effective scheduling of road oiling activities.
• Document daily work activities and any issues encountered.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during operations.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment operation when required.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss safety and operational improvements.
• Support other road maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in road construction or maintenance would be advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in road construction or maintenance: Hands-on experience working in road repair or construction.
• Additional certifications in truck operation or road maintenance: Certifications that enhance truck operation capabilities.
• Experience operating road oiling trucks: Specific experience with road oiling trucks or similar machinery.
