We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. This position is integral to delivering quality patient care, diagnosing and treating ailments, and managing overall patient health. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a commitment to community health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-ups.
• Diagnose a range of health issues and implement appropriate treatments.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patient health management.
• Utilize technology for patient communication and care coordination.
• Ensure all patient care documents are maintained accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
• Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system.
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and continuing education.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
• Postgraduate qualifications in primary care are highly regarded

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years working in general practice
