Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical operations and patient care during working hours.
• Perform dental procedures and manage dental health for pets.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment plans.
• Handle emergency cases with efficiency and care.
• Lead community outreach programs to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in veterinary practice

Certifications

• Veterinary Surgeon License
• CPR Certification for Pets

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with exotic animals: Work experience with a range of exotic animals is a plus.
• Advanced ultrasound skills: Ability to perform ultrasound diagnostics is an advantage.
