Seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Cape Town office. You will play a critical role in developing security strategies and safeguarding our information systems from threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring of the organization’s networks.
• Lead investigations of security breaches and incidents.
• Collaborate with vendors for security product evaluations.
• Create reports on security risks and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Review and update security technology and protocols as needed.
• Participate in the development of security architecture.
• Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis
