Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Lab Instructor to join our academic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will teach students about physics principles and lead hands-on laboratory experiments that enhance their understanding of the subject. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct physics experiments that illustrate core principles.
  • Mentor and support students in their lab work.
  • Maintain an organized and safe laboratory environment.
  • Evaluate student understanding through practical assessments.
  • Participate in curriculum development and improvement initiatives.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular science activities.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and scientific inquiry among students.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or Physics
  • Postgraduate diploma in education preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching and laboratory instruction
