Job Description

As an Investment Banking Analyst at our Cape Town office, you will be at the forefront of financial advisory and transaction processes. You will provide analytical support, develop financial models, and assist in the preparation of presentations for clients. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in market trends and a strong desire to develop a career in investment banking.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial data to deliver actionable insights.
• Support the preparation of business proposals and project plans.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the execution of transactions.
• Develop and maintain databases to track transactions and market information.
• Communicate findings effectively to team members and clients.
• Participate in client meetings to present analytical findings.
• Conduct post-transaction evaluations to assess outcomes.
• Assist in managing client relationships and expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Investment Banking is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking

• Valuation Techniques

Certifications

• CFA Level I preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
