Production Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production runs efficiently, meets quality standards, and adheres to safety regulations. You will lead a team of skilled professionals and coordinate production schedules to fulfil client demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor production performance metrics.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Train and mentor team members on production best practices.
• Review and approve production work instructions.
• Ensure that production targets are met while minimizing waste.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in production management or manufacturing operations
