Job Description

We are looking for an Insurance Claim Consultant to assist clients in navigating the complexities of the claims process. The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance and a strong client service orientation, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess claims for validity and completeness, providing appropriate resolutions.
  • Help clients gather necessary documentation and proofs of loss.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while managing high call volumes.
  • Work closely with medical professionals when medical claims are involved.
  • Conduct claim investigations and interviews as necessary.
  • Keep updated with industry changes and emerging trends affecting claims.
  • Ensure that claims are processed in a timely manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support team members with the workflow and claims processing.
  • Prepare reports on claims for management review.
  • Engage in training sessions to improve claims handling skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Risk Management or related field
  • Relevant insurance certifications preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance claims management
