We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to offer respiratory care services in our healthcare facility. The role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage respiratory illnesses and conditions. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients' respiratory status weekly.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Educate staff members on respiratory therapy techniques.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to care strategy discussions.
• Conduct training sessions for new respiratory staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

Experience

• Experience working in a healthcare facility preferred

Technical Skills

• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in electronic health record systems

Soft Skills

• Strong patient education skills

Certifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Proficient
