Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to contribute to our research and development efforts in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of laboratory protocols and procedures, with a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests on samples collected from experiments.
• Help maintain compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for the procurement of laboratory materials.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep up with the latest laboratory techniques.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on experimental findings.
• Assist in quality assurance and control measures for laboratory operations.
• Contribute ideas for innovative research projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in laboratory research roles
