Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organisation's information systems from cyber threats. You will develop and implement security measures, conduct risk assessments, and monitor network security.

Responsibilities

• Implement proactive security measures against cyber threats.
• Evaluate tools and technologies to improve security.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs.
• Collaborate in developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage security incidents and escalate as required.
• Maintain documentation of security policies and procedures.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on compliance matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

• 5+ years of experience in information security
