Accounts Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to oversee our bookkeeping operations in Port Elizabeth. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of financial management, ensuring that our accounts are accurately maintained and financial reports are prepared on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
• Assist in the integration of new accounting technologies.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
• Prepare analytical reports for management review.
• Ensure data integrity and security in financial systems.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss goals and performance.
• Implement cost-saving measures by reviewing operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with supervisory experience preferred
