Job Description

We are seeking experienced Sewing Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in operating and maintaining sewing machines, with a keen eye for detail and quality. You will play a critical role in the production of our apparel products.

Responsibilities

• Utilize sewing machines to stitch textile materials based on production requirements.
• Check and adjust machine settings to ensure proper stitching accuracy.
• Inspect completed garments for defects or inconsistencies.
• Assist in training new operators in machine operation and safety practices.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Document production output and report any discrepancies to management.
• Work closely with team members to streamline production processes.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in sewing technology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in industrial sewing settings.

• Certificate in Textile Technology

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
