Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and driving sales while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and staff activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport.
  • Assist in ordering, receiving, and managing inventory.
  • Implement effective merchandising strategies.
  • Lead the sales team in achieving targets.
  • Address customer feedback and work on solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize store processes.
  • Support the Store Manager in administrative tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Diploma in retail management or relevant field strongly preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in retail operations or assistant management
