Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Auditor to enhance our auditing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking abilities and a solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards. You'll work closely with various departments to streamline compliance and reporting functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through execution.
• Communicate audit findings to clients and management effectively.
• Review draft reports and finalize documentation.
• Enhance and maintain audit methodology to ensure quality.
• Manage multiple audit projects and deadlines.
• Participate in special projects related to financial integrity.
• Perform follow-up audits to verify corrective actions.
• Utilize various auditing software and tools.
• Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of extensive auditing and accounting experience

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with advanced Excel functions: Expertise in using advanced Excel for financial analysis.
