Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves proactive monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and incident response to ensure our systems remain secure against cyber threats. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of various security tools, protocols, and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security awareness training for all employees.
• Perform regular scans and audits of systems for vulnerabilities.
• Work with vendors and partners to address security risks.
• Create reports on security incidents and breaches.
• Advocate for and lead cybersecurity initiatives within the company.
• Ensure effective data protection strategies are in place.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging threats and security solutions.
• Assist in planning and implementing disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
