Job Description

We are seeking an Urban Planner to design and implement effective urban projects in Durban. In this role, you will develop land use plans, assess environmental impact, and engage with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design urban spaces that foster economic growth and social inclusion.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments for proposed developments.
  • Develop planning policies that adhere to local and national regulations.
  • Utilize GIS technology to analyze and visualize urban data.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
  • Master's degree in Urban Studies preferred

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in urban planning
