Job Description

Join our team as a Civil Engineer where you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that shape the infrastructure of Port Elizabeth. You will apply engineering principles to the design and construction of buildings and other structures, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering meetings to discuss project design and execution.
• Research and implement modern engineering methods and techniques.
• Draft engineering plans and specifications using CAD software.
• Review and approve technical drawings and plans from junior engineers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with the preparation of project schedules and timelines.
• Evaluate and recommend materials and equipment for projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
• Ensure projects adhere to deadlines and budget constraints.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Masters in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure development
