Job Description

As a UX Designer at Design Solutions South Africa, you will be responsible for transforming complex user needs into intuitive and impactful design solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure a smooth user experience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in all designs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to troubleshoot design issues.
• Create design systems to maintain consistency across products.
• Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders for feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent professional experience
• Master's degree in User Experience or related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in similar roles

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate
• Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with animation in design: Skills in creating engaging animations to enhance user experience.
