Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions.
• Perform dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and crowns.
• Educate patients on oral health and preventative care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver quality care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Stay updated with the latest dental technology and practices.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote dental health.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Proficient in dental procedures
• Dental radiography

Soft Skills

• Patient communication
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in orthodontics or cosmetic dentistry: Additional specialization in orthodontic treatments or cosmetic enhancements.
• Familiarity with digital dental software: Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software.
