Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health status and report findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in patient care delivery.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare policies and procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and patient tests.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Participate in quality assurance programs.
• Mentor and guide junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Wound Care Management

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Fluency in multiple languages: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or Xhosa is a plus.
• Wound Care Certification: Certification in advanced wound care management is advantageous.
