Internal Auditor

Job Description

As an Internal Auditor, you will be instrumental in evaluating our financial practices and ensuring adherence to standards. Your insights will not only assist in diminishing risks but will also support strategic decision-making within our Johannesburg-based team.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring appropriate procedures are followed.
• Evaluate IT and operational systems for effectiveness and security.
• Assist in the development of internal auditing standards and policies.
• Conduct follow-up reviews on audit recommendations to ascertain implementation.
• Prepare management reports summarizing audit findings.
• Establish collaborative relationships with department managers to promote compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest auditing practices and regulations.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on audit best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years in auditing roles, with experience in managing audits of various business divisions.

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
