As a Tax Accountant at our Bloemfontein branch, you will be tasked with preparing detailed tax returns, advising clients on tax-related decisions, and assisting in audits. We're looking for a proactive individual who can navigate the complexities of taxation effortlessly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tax records and assist with financial audits.
• Develop and execute tax strategies to optimize client operations.
• Analyze client financials to identify tax opportunities.
• Advise clients on tax ramifications of business decisions.
• Prepare documentation for tax filings and appeals.
• Coordinate with external advisors regarding complicated tax issues.
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal tax rules.
• Communicate tax strategies and issues effectively to clients.
• Utilize accounting software for tax preparation.
• Participate in professional development programs to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of direct tax experience preferred
