Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be instrumental in facilitating the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring that all logistics activities are executed seamlessly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the logistics operations from order fulfillment to delivery.
• Coordinate with freight carriers and negotiate rates.
• Assess logistics performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Train team members on logistics best practices and systems.
• Participate in project planning and execution related to logistics improvements.
• Manage and resolve any logistics-related issues that arise.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
• Additional qualifications in project management is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations or supply chain management
