Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, assist in patient assessments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Participate in patient rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide hands-on nursing care in accordance with protocols.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
• Manage patient queries compassionately and effectively.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

• Wound Care

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Certification that equips nurses to handle cardiac emergencies.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems: Practical knowledge of EHR systems for efficient patient management.
