Job Description

As a Veterinarian at VetCare Animal Hospital, you will deliver compassionate and efficient care to our beloved animal patients. This role involves performing examinations, administering medications, and conducting surgeries while educating pet owners on health and nutrition.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose illnesses and injuries in pets and provide appropriate treatment.
  • Perform critical surgeries and procedures with a focus on animal welfare.
  • Conduct wellness checks and health assessments regularly.
  • Advise pet owners on behavioral issues and preventive care.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal health.
  • Lead training sessions for junior staff and interns.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
  • Keep up to date with the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary practice
