Stock Control Specialist

Job Description

As a Stock Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy, and optimizing stock control processes. This role is vital in maintaining our operational efficiency while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory counting sessions and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with finance to manage stock-related budgets.
• Implement KPIs to measure inventory accuracy and performance.
• Provide analytical insights to enhance stock flow efficiency.
• Support in establishing relationships with key vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in stock control or logistics

Technical Skills

• SAP or Similar ERP Systems

Soft Skills

• Team Management

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with Data Analytics Tools: Ability to use data analysis tools to interpret stock trends.
• Leadership Experience: Experience in leading inventory teams or projects.
