Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Rip Sawyer to manage projects and ensure quality control within our manufacturing processes. This role includes providing technical support, overseeing daily operations, and collaborating with various teams to maintain efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of sawing machines and ensure they function smoothly.
• Evaluate production metrics and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Lead safety training sessions for new and existing employees.
• Ensure all wood processed meets specified quality standards.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate logs.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding processes for new operators.
• Develop strategies to enhance team productivity and morale.
• Conduct performance reviews and give constructive feedback.
• Actively seek feedback from team members on operational improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Wood Science or similar qualifications

Experience

• 5 years of experience in wood manufacturing or related fields.
