Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage all logistical operations in our Port Elizabeth office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for the logistics industry. Your role will ensure that our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate logistics and transportation activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of shipments and resolve delays.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for shipments.
• Evaluate and select logistics service providers.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and optimize inventory.
• Support the logistics manager in strategic planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics health sector is preferred

• Transportation Management Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with supply chain optimization techniques: Experience in implementing strategies for reducing costs and improving efficiency.
• Language proficiency in Afrikaans or Xhosa: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is an asset.
