Job Description

As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our orthodontic practice, assisting the orthodontist in providing exceptional patient care. Your role will involve both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring our practice runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Support the orthodontist with all patient treatment procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
• Manage patient follow-ups and communications.
• Assist in developing treatment plans alongside the orthodontist.
• Ensure all dental software and records are up to date.
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.
• Monitor patient comfort and needs during treatments.
• Administer basic patient assessments as directed by the orthodontist.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Orthodontic Assisting or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in orthodontic practices is highly advantageous

Technical Skills

• 3D Scanning Knowledge
• Orthodontic Software Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Orthodontic appliance fabrication experience: Experience in creating orthodontic devices and appliances.
