Mechanical Engineer

We are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of mechanical systems and a passion for innovative design. Your skills will contribute directly to the development of advanced engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design reports and specifications.
• Implement engineering changes and monitor their impact on product performance.
• Work closely with procurement to source materials and components.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and production teams.
• Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting on mechanical systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes.
• Assist in the preparation of project bids and proposals.
• Participate in technical audits and inspections as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and design
