Join our dynamic team in Johannesburg as an Actuary. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to analyse complex data and provide actionable insights to enhance our insurance products and services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize programming skills to automate data processing and analysis.
• Identify trends and make recommendations to optimize pricing models.
• Review the accuracy of data inputs and outputs in actuarial calculations.
• Conduct peer reviews of actuarial work and methodologies.
• Assist in training junior actuaries and interns on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
• Professional actuary qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Certifications

• Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) certification is a plus
