Responsibilities

• Guide clients in developing job search strategies and techniques.
• Assist in preparing clients for job interviews and assessments.
• Identify skills gaps and recommend relevant training programs.
• Conduct information sessions on career options and resources.
• Support families in understanding the vocational evaluation process.
• Develop marketing materials to promote services to potential clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Counseling or related field is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in educational counseling or guidance roles

Technical Skills

• Client Management Software
• Vocational Evaluation Techniques

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Career Counselor (CCC)
• Registered Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (RVRC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
