Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and projects. They will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects from inception to completion.
• Interface with contractors and suppliers for project procurement.
• Perform site visits to monitor progress and compliance.
• Provide innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Review specifications and ensure quality control.
• Assist in the research and development of new technologies.
• Implement project management methodologies for efficiency.
• Develop maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in electrical engineering roles
