Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with developers and product managers to enhance user experiences through innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex ideas into user-friendly designs.
• Analyze user interaction data to enhance designs.
• Support the development team during implementation.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Build responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design or related field
• Master’s degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• InVision
• User Testing Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• UX Design Certification
• Human-Computer Interaction Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Experience in Mobile Design: Experience in designing for mobile platforms and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with Animation Tools: Knowledge of animation tools like After Effects for UI animations.
