Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Financial Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, forecasting business trends, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with various departments to enhance financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies.
• Assist in developing company-wide financial policies and procedures.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare financial presentations for stakeholders.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation.
• Research and analyze industry trends and competitors' performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar

• Advanced Financial Modelling

• CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
• FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst)
