Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the management of construction projects in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients, to ensure effective project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are monitored and controlled.
• Conduct regular site evaluations and assessments.
• Collaborate with and manage subcontractors to ensure quality work.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, specifications, and standards.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to upper management.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues that occur during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Construction Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects
