We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Pietermaritzburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with current codes and standards. You will work on diverse projects, contributing to the development of safe, efficient structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings for accuracy.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to maintain compliance.
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of training materials for new technologies and construction methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Round the clock active specialization courses in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design

• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
