Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Pietermaritzburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with current codes and standards. You will work on diverse projects, contributing to the development of safe, efficient structures.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze a variety of structures including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Ensure structural designs meet relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Prepare and present project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Participate in project management tasks and support the project lifecycle from inception to completion.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Round the clock active specialization courses in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design

Languages
