Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in software testing, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify issues, review requirements, and carry out testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance testing and security validation.
• Utilize testing tools and methodologies to discover software defects.
• Train and mentor new team members in quality assurance processes.
• Work with team members to identify areas for process improvement.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to product development discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in a QA role

Technical Skills

• Test Management Tools
• Defect Tracking

Advantageous

• Experience with Continuous Integration Tools: Experience with tools like Jenkins for automated testing.
• Knowledge of Security Testing: Basic knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
