We are seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician to join our support team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will assist users with technical issues, ensuring their IT needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your role will involve troubleshooting software and hardware problems, providing training on IT tools, and maintaining IT documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the IT support ticketing system and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Engage in proactive maintenance of hardware and software.
• Keep detailed records of user interactions and troubleshooting steps taken.
• Assist with inventory management for IT equipment.
• Develop user guides and documentation for IT support.
• Provide feedback to management on areas for support improvement.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with VoIP systems: Experience with voice over IP systems and troubleshooting.
