Data Analyst

Job Description

We're looking for a detailed-oriented Data Analyst to join our Cape Town office. In this role, you’ll analyze complex datasets to help drive business efficiency and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Utilize statistical techniques to analyze and interpret data.
• Initiate and monitor data quality metrics to improve data collection processes.
• Lead projects to implement data collection processes.
• Coordinate with IT and other departments to enhance analysis tools and systems.
• Maintain full documentation of data processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications would be advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts: Understanding of systems that manage large quantities of data.
