Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Aerospace Engineer to contribute to innovative aerospace projects in Pretoria. In this role, you will design, develop, and test aerospace systems while working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of aerospace projects.
• Perform calculations and simulations to support design decisions.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Manage project budgets and timelines.
• Engage with clients to understand project requirements.
• Foster innovation through continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree or additional certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or related fields

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Systems Engineering

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Aerospace Technician (CAT)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
