Looking for an experienced Structural Metal Fabricator and Fitter with expertise in shipbuilding. You will be responsible for working with a wide range of metals and ensuring quality in every fabricated piece.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings to inform fabrication processes.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment for metal fabrication.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all tasks.
• Collaborate with naval architects and engineers to complete projects.
• Participate in training sessions to keep skills updated.
• Contribute to quality control processes by inspecting work.
• Assist in the development of best practices for fabrication.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Support and mentor junior fabricators as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in shipbuilding or fabrication roles.
