Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans. You will play a key role in enhancing patient health through preventive measures, health education, and management of chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and assessments.
• Provide immediate care during medical emergencies.
• Counsel and support patients in managing their health.
• Document patient history and treatment details carefully.
• Attend regular training and professional development sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of health policies.
• Foster strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Advocate for patient health and wellness within the community.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Specialist qualifications are preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years experience in a General Practitioner role

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certification
