Job Description

As a Credit Counselor, you'll assist students in navigating the complexities of financial aid applications. You will provide guidance on funding opportunities, perform needs assessments, and help students manage their financial obligations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Help students navigate the financial aid application process and ensure timely submissions.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of financial aid applications, awards, and disbursements.
  • Monitor the disbursement of financial aid funds to comply with regulations.
  • Provide training and support to other staff members as needed.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with changes in financial aid policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Education, Business, or a related field
Experience
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
